At Palmetto Citizens, we’ve designed our checking accounts to fit your needs, whether it’s avoiding a monthly fee, earning dividends or managing your account online. Our Classic and Premium checking accounts both offer several benefits and features to help you manage your account.

Classic Checking - Our classic checking account requires no minimum balance1 and no monthly service charges are imposed. Dividends are earned monthly based on your account’s average daily balance of $500 or greater.

Premium Checking - Our Premium checking account is perfect for our members who want to keep a higher balance in their account. There is no monthly fee2 when a minimum balance of $2500 is maintained in the account. Other benefits include:

Other Checking Account Features:

Debit Card Rewards - Earn points each time you choose credit when using your debit card. There is no fee or activation required. You can redeem your points for brand name merchandise and travel accommodations at www.scorecardrewards.com. Visit our Rewards Page for more information.

ATM Access - No surcharge ATMs are located at each Palmetto Citizens service center as well as throughout the Midlands. For a complete listing of our ATM locations, click here.

Duplicate Checks - Most checks are printed in duplicate, giving you an exact copy of every check you write. We also safeguard your cancelled checks at no charge.

Direct Deposit - Avoid unnecessary trips to deposit your paycheck or other recurring monthly checks.

Overdraft Protection - An overdraft protection loan is a line-of-credit designed to protect you from non-sufficient fund and returned check fees. This loan is based on creditworthiness and certain restrictions may apply. Ask a Member Service Representative for more information.

TellerLine - Manage your account over the phone by calling (803) 256-4073 or (800) 521-4497.

PC NetExpress - Access your account over the internet anytime. Just click on the Quick Link at the left or use the Login button at the top of the page.

Verified By Visa - This service provides added security for your online purchases. Once you are enrolled, you will use a password to verify all online transactions. We are pleased to offer you this great service at no additional charge.
