Planet M™ Kids Club
Planet M is a special kids club that allows children up to age 12 to learn about savings while having fun! Your child is eligible to join and open a Planet M Prime Share account with as little as $25.

boom! is a program especially for teens that focuses on teaching money management, encouraging good savings habits and offers many more exclusive benefits. Teens ages 13 to 17 are eligible to open a boom! Prime Share account with as little as $25. There is also an option to limit your teen’s access to withdrawals from the account without a parent/legal guardian’s presence.

A parent or legal guardian must be a joint account holder on any and all youth/teen accounts, loans, products and services opened at Palmetto Citizens.
Youth Financial Education
Evening Educational Programs: Throughout the year, Palmetto Citizens hosts financial education seminars on topics for youth and their parents. Please check our Upcoming Events section to see when the next seminar is available.
National Endowment for Financial Education (NEFE): Palmetto Citizens provides a free financial education program, including student workbooks and teacher curriculum, to high school teachers and community group leaders. The NEFE program covers topics, such as: establishing and prioritizing financial goals, understanding the wise use of credit, developing a budget and how to save.
