Carol Addy Appointed to South Carolina Board of Financial Institutions

COLUMBIA, SC: Carol Addy, Chief Revenue Officer at Palmetto Citizens Federal Credit Union, has been appointed to the South Carolina State Board of Financial Institutions. She was appointed by Governor Henry McMaster and approved by the SC Senate to serve in this role.

The mission of the Board of Financial Institutions is to protect the citizens of South Carolina by preserving a sound financial industry through effective and efficient regulatory oversight of financial institutions to strengthen consumer confidence, assure reliable access to financial services, and encourage economic growth.

"I'm honored to serve the citizens of South Carolina as a member of the Board of Financial Institutions," said Addy. "Financial services has been a life-long passion for me and I'm looking forward to working with the other members of this board to ensure our industry is continuing to do what we need to best serve our members, customers, and clients."

Addy, who joined the senior leadership team at Palmetto Citizens in 2023, has over 30 years of experience working as an executive in financial services. Prior to her position with Palmetto Citizens, she served as Vice President and Mortgage Production Manager at a $17 billion financial institution.
