Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) Insurance¹
Members age 18 and up are eligible to receive a free $1,000 basic AD&D insurance policy ($500 for ages 70+). This coverage, fully paid for by Palmetto Citizens, pays a cash benefit after an accident results in a covered injury or loss of life.
Coin Counters
Self-service coin counting machines are available at each of our offices and are free to members with personal accounts (business account holders and non-members will be charged a 5% service fee).
Direct Deposit
Save yourself a trip and have your paycheck, tax refund or other payments deposited directly to your Palmetto Citizens account.
Discounted Entertainment Tickets
Members can purchase discounted tickets to Regal Cinemas at any of our locations.
Foreign Currency
Palmetto Citizens partners with Currency Exchange International (CXI) for our members to be able to purchase and sell foreign currency at any of our offices (whole dollar increments, no coin). CXI offers competitive rates on over 80 different currencies.
Free Financial Counseling
All members have free access to GreenPath Financial Wellness, a money management and financial education counseling service. Certified financial counselors are available to assist you with a variety of financial needs and questions.
Low Cost Loan Protection²
Your family's financial well-being is protected when you choose credit disability and life insurance coverage. Disability insurance can cover your loan payments if you become disabled and cannot work. Credit life insurance covers the remaining balance of your loan in the event of your death.
Notary Service
All Palmetto Citizens members have free access to the notary public in each of our offices.
Safe Deposit Boxes
Boxes are available to rent annually in the following sizes: 3x5, 3x10, 5x10 and 10x10. Please contact us about location availability.
Senior Benefits Program
Our Very Important Palmetto Seniors program is available to members ages 55+ who have a PCFCU checking account (open at least 90 days) with a minimum of 10 transactions per month and a monthly direct deposit into the account.
Visa® Gift Cards
Palmetto Citizens Visa® Gift Cards give recipients the flexibility to choose what they want and can be used at any merchant retail location⁵ accepting Visa around the United States. Cards are available in any whole dollar amount between $10 and $1000.⁶
