2027 - 2028 Scholarship Program

At Palmetto Citizens, we're committed to giving back to our members and community, beyond just providing low-cost financial services. This is why we partner with the Carolinas Credit Union Foundation annually to award TWENTY individual members with a $1,000 Palmetto Citizens Scholarship! Applications will be accepted online through February of the applied year.

Shred Day at Irmo!

Our Irmo Branch is hosting a free document shredding event with Shred 360. Protect yourself from fraud and cut down on the clutter by bringing your unneeded personal documents to be shredded at no cost. There is a limit of 3 bags/boxes/bins of materials per vehicle. All information will be shredded on-site by Shred 360 and you will not need to leave your car. No plastic, glass or other non-paper trash are allowed. You will be asked to take any of your boxes and/or bags back with you. Shred 360 and Palmetto Citizens are not responsible for information abandoned or left unattended by consumers. All materials presented to Shred 360 will be recycled to assure total and permanent destruction of all materials as well as to provide a benefit to the environment. *Times may vary based on the volume of materials received.
