Visa Credit Card System Enhancement
Between 9/8 - 9/12/2022, we completed a Visa Credit Card system enhancement in order to better serve our members.
Changes You'll See Since the Upgrade Was Completed
After this system enhancement was completed on 9/12, you will notice the following changes:
Transaction & Payment Information:
The external site for credit card information (EZ Card) accessed through online/mobile banking is no longer available. You can now view transactions and other details about your credit card within online/mobile banking.
- If you established a recurring credit card payment using the EZ Card website, these payments will no longer occur beginning on September 8th. Please re-establish this payment using online/mobile banking beginning on September 12th or make alternative arrangements for future payments.
eStatements:
Starting with your October 2022 Visa Credit Card Statement, if you are enrolled in Palmetto Citizens eStatements, you will start to receive your Visa Statement as an eStatement as well. If you're not enrolled in PCFCU eStatements, you'll continue to receive your statement at your mailing address on file.
- To enroll in eStatements, log into online/mobile banking and select 'eStatements' from the menu.
Loan Description & Number:
Although your card number did not change, the name of your card in online/mobile banking and on your statements has changed to the type of credit card you have (for example, Visa Premiere or Visa Classic). The loan number associated with your card, which is displayed in online/mobile banking and on your statements, has also changed.
- If you'd like, you can change the display name of your credit card using online/mobile banking.
Card Lock:
You are now able to lock (or unlock) your credit card using online/mobile banking, as you can with your debit and ATM cards. This security feature allows you to automatically disable your card should it become lost or stolen.
Alerts:
You can now set up email and/or text alerts for your Visa credit card using online/mobile banking (select "Alerts & Notices" from the menu to manage your alerts).
- Any alerts set up for your credit card using the EZ Card website will no longer occur beginning on September 10th.
